BREAKING: Bofoakwa Tano is set to appoint another former Asante Kotoko head coach, Abdulai Gazale.

Ghana premier league returnees, Bofoakwa Tano are in advance talks for former Asante Kotoko Sporting Club assistant coach Abdulai Gazale for the vacant head coach position since the dismissal of Coach Stephen Frimpong Manso per reports reaching Becks Media.

Abdulai Gazale is currently the head coach of Division One side Northern City and they are performing extremely well in the Access Bank Division One Zone 1A.

Abdulai Gazale popped up on the radar of the Hunter and negotiations have started for a possible appointment.

The 32-year-old gaffer was previously a caretaker manager for Asante Kotoko before resigning from his position to join the Tamale-based club. Gazale joined Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in the 2020/21 season as an Assistant Coach to Maxwell Konadu in his second tenure at Kotoko.

Abdulai Gazale was sent to Southampton to learn more about youth team due to the partnership between the Skybet Championship side Southampton and Asante Kotoko Sporting Club but resigned after the re-appointment of DR. Prosper Narteh Ogum to the club.

He also led T.I Ahmadiyya Senior High School to finish fourth in the just ended Inter schools and Colleges football tournament which was held in Kumasi.

Per the information reaching the frontdesk of Becks Media Online, Abdulai Gazale is likely to end up in Sunyani and sign till the end of the season before the close of next week.

Gazale was part of the Asante Kotoko technical team which the club’s 25th League title in 2021.
