CONFIRMED: Samuel Osei Kuffour returns to Bechem United after a loan spell in Portugal

Samuel Osei Kuffour has returned to his parent club Bechem United after a successful loan spell with FC Felgueiras in Portugal.

Now, the former Black Galaxies defender and undoubtedly the best defender in the 2021/2022 league season returns to Bechem with enhanced abilities and a deeper understanding of the game. In the 2021/2022 season, he appeared in 31 games for Bechem United and scored once.

In the same season, he also played a key role in helping the club to place 2nd runner-up and 1st runner-up in the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup.

Bechem United’s management and coaching staff also expressed their delight at having Kuffour back in the squad. “Kuffour has shown tremendous growth during his loan spell, and we believe he will bring a fresh perspective and enhanced skills to our team. We warmly welcome him back and are excited to see him in action once again. With his return, we have enough experienced defenders such as Aaron Essel (Ghana U20, Ghana U23 & Black Galaxies), Joseph Kinful (Black Galaxies), Emmanuel Ababio, and the general captain James Papa Yaw are more than capable of leading the defense, and give a better performance in the upcoming season” said Mr. Kingsley Osei Bonsu, Chief Executive Officer.

His return strengthens the squad and adds another layer of talent to the roster of Bechem United and fills the vacated position of Captain Kofi Abgesima who currently joined Hearts Of Oak.
