Chelsea extends their unbeaten streak to four after a 4-1 away win over Vincent Kompany’s Burnley at the Turf Moor in the English Premier League.
Both teams started the game well, it was a ding-dong affair in the early stages of the game until Burnley found the back of the net through Wilson Odobert in the 15th minute of the game.
Three minutes to the end of half-time, Ameen Al Dakhil scored an own from a deflecting cross from Raheem Sterling to make it 1-1 at the break.
Chelsea came into the second half straight and completed their comeback six minutes into the second half through Cole Palmer after converting a penalty kick which was won by Raheem Sterling. After making an impact in the first two goals scored by Chelsea, Raheem Sterling got his goal in the 65th minute with a neat finish into the bottom right corner after receiving a precise pass inside the box from Conor Gallagher.
Half-time substitute Nicholas Jackson completed the humiliation in the 75th minute with brilliant composure inside the box to bury the ball in a close range.
After a poor start to the season, it seems Chelsea has found their rhythm and yet to lose in their last four games in all competitions.
The win at the Turf Moore pushes Chelsea to the 10th position of the league table with eleven points while Burnley drops to the relegation zone with four points after eight games played.
