Exclusive: Update on recent transfers this summer

English side, Chelsea backed out of the deal to sign Michael Olise when Crystal Palace informed club lawyers of their intention to consider taking the case to a tribunal. Palace were considering reporting Chelsea for their approach for Olise before he signed a new deal.

Tottenham, Chelsea and Brentford are all considering a move for Brennan Johnson before the window closes.

Nottingham Forest would want at least £40M for the Welshman.

Chelsea could now turn their attention to Brennan Johnson after Michael Olise rejected them in favour of staying at Crystal Palace.

Bayern Munich have ruled out making a move for David De Gea. He will not be signed, Thomas Tuchel vetoed it. They
have approached Maccabi Tel Aviv with an offer of around €4.5m for Daniel Peretz.

The 23-year old goalkeeper is now thought to be their number one target for a new keeper.

Arsenal are considering a move for Benjamin Pavard from Bayern to make up for the injury of Jurrien Timber!

Inter have the Bayern defender on top of their transfer list, while Man Utd are waiting to see what happens with Maguire before any signing.

Real Madrid could hijack Aymeric Laporte’s from Manchester City move to Al-Nassr as they look to reinforce the defence after the injury of Éder Militão.

The player is waiting to see if Real Madrid will make an offer. Player already interested in the move if it happens.

Hakim Ziyech has now completed all his medical tests at Galatasaray and passed after numerous failed ones at PSG and Al Nassr.

His transfer will be made official soon.

João Félíx has reportedly decided to terminate his contract with Atlético Madrid.

Atletico Madrid takes the alleged ‘threat’ of João Félix terminating his contract as a joke. If he wants to do so, he will have to pay his €350m release clause.

Félix’s relationship with Simeone and the dressing room is practically broken. Nobody understands what is happening.

The feeling is he’s waiting until the end of the market to go to Barcelona. He has already communicated it to his agents and Atlético. He is blocking all other offers to be a Barça player.

The Saudi’s reportedly plan to reward the winner of the Saudi Pro League with qualification to the UEFA Champions League.

The idea would be to formulate a request to UEFA for a “wild card” to the Champions League, which will be played by 36 teams from 2024/25.

The objective of Saudi Arabia: to become an absolute reference on a world stage in terms of football.

If Uefa accepts this idea, it might mean that Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Neymar would be able to play in Europe again.

Furthermore, this would surely raise the Saudi Pro League’s visibility and status on a global scale.
