Asante Kotoko Sporting Club are yet to sign any player in the second transfer window despite numerous rumors linking some top performing players in the first round to the club.

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has officially reached an agreement with Nsoatreman Football Club for the services of right back Emmanuel Kotei on an undisclosed transfer fee. Emmanuel Kotei joined Nsoatreman Football Club in the middle of the 2022/23 season and had been exceptional since joining Nsoatreman Football Club. Emmanuel Kotei, 26, has provided four assists this season for Nsoatreman Football Club in seventeen matches in the Ghana Premier League. He is expected to sign for the next three seasons.

Former Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu is on the verge of returning to the the IFFHIS African Club of the 20th Century, Asante Kotoko Sporting Club after meeting with the Interim Management Committee of the team yesterday in Kumasi. The 29-year-old striker left Asante Kotoko Sporting Club after the 2019/20 season which he was the best player for Asante Kotoko Sporting Club in the CAF Confederations Cup which they played in the Group for the first time after ten years alongside side Al Hilal Omdurman, Zesco United and Nkana Football Club of Zambia. In other news, Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has completed the signing of former Inter Allies Football Club goalkeeper Mohammed Sheriff Shuaibu on a two-year deal. Shaubi signed after a successful medical examination two days ago. However, Hearts of Oak Sporting Club are in talks with striker Kojo Obeng Junior for contract termination. Kojo Obeng Junior has been consistent for Hearts of Oak Sporting Club in the past two years due to injuries and struggling for playing time. Kojo Obeng Junior was the club’s top scorer in 2020/21 season with ten goals in all competitions. Kwadwo Obeng Jr’s contract will be terminated before the closure of the transfer window later this January.

In Dormaa, Aduana Football Club has completed the signing of Andrews Owusu from Accra Lions Football Club for the next two years.
