Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Kwame Baah is on the verge of joining Accra Hearts Of Oak according to reports from SportsWorldGhana. The former Asante Kotoko goalie talks with the Accra-based side are in advanced talks and are likely to seal a deal by the close of the week.
Kwame Baah left Asante Kotoko to join Ethiopian side Adama City after his contract expiry with the club in 2022 after helping the club to win its 25th league title.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper is currently in Ghana after contract expiry with Adama City. He signed a year deal for the Ethiopian side after leaving Asante Kotoko on a free transfer. Kwame Baah is currently in Accra and is expected to start training with the phobians on Monday, October 2.
The signing of Kwame Baah will bring more competition to the goalkeeping department of the club, he will compete with Richmond Ayi, Richard Atta, and the experienced Eric Ofori Antwi.
Kwame Baah is expected to sign a two-year deal for Accra Hearts of Oak and an option of one-year extension.
Kwame Baah previously played Kpando Heart of Lions and Inter Allies before joining Kotoko in the Ghana premier league.
