Asante Kotoko has officially approached Accra Lions for their captain and midfielder Dominic Nsobila ahead of the upcoming season.
At just 20 years old, Nsobila has showcased impressive performances that have caught the attention of numerous clubs both locally and foreign. Asante Kotoko believes that his addition to their squad would significantly boost their chances in the domestic league and help them secure a spot for Africa.
Having been one of the standout players for Accra Lions in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League, the young captain’s performances have piqued the interest of many clubs, making Kotoko the frontrunner in the race to sign him.
Asante Kotoko has officially sent a letter to Accra Lions enquiring about the player’s availability. However, Accra Lions has also received interest from foreign clubs, which they will consider before settling any decision with Kotoko.
Dominic Nsobila featured in both Black Galaxies and Black Meteors in the CHAN tournament and U23 youth AFCON respectively.
Nsobila played 1867 minutes in the betpawa premier league and picked up two MvP awards. He also scored 2goals.
