GPL TRANSFERS: Bofoakwa Tano interested in signing Asante Kotoko duo.

Newly promoted side, Bofoakwa Tano has shown keen interest in signing former defender Andrews Appau and former Mighty Royals defender Maxwell Agyemang from Asante Kotoko.

BecksUpdates understand that Asante Kotoko has made the decision to release both Appau and Agyemang. Both players have failed to make an impact on the team since joining back in October 2022 and September 2021respectively despite being league winners.

Bofoakwa Tano is expected to sign three years deal each for both players, aiming to strengthen the squad for the upcoming 2023/24 league season.

Andrews Appau is currently in Sunyani and his deal is expected to be sealed by the close of the week.

Head Coach Dr. Ogum put both players on transfer alongside nine other players following his reappointment.

Interestingly, Appau and Agyemang are not currently part of the Kotoko squad that is undergoing preparations for the upcoming season in Beposo.
