MATCH REPORT: Bofoakwa Tano sinks Hearts of Oak in Sunyani

Bofoakwa Tano pipped Hearts of Oak by a goal to nil courtesy “INFORM” Saaka Duada’s goal at the Coronation Park in Sunyani.

Bofoakwa Tano started the game well, dominated possession, and created numerous goal-scoring opportunities in the early stages of the game but the defense of Hearts of Oak was resolute in denying them from scoring an early goal. Hearts of Oak settled after the opening twenty minutes of the game to take control of the game but weren’t able to find the back of the net.  Half-time ended goalless.

Bofoakwa Tano continued their attacking play and broke the deadlock just a minute inside the second half through their captain Saaka Duada after a lovely through pass from Ernest Mwankurinah.

Bofoakwa Tano continued dominating the game with some delightful football to entertain their supporters, also created a lot of chances to extend their lead but Hearts of Oak were resolute and compact at the back to deny them from scoring another.

After the introduction of Salifu Ibrahim into the game but Hearts of Oak, the game turned in favour for the phobias, they created some decent opportunities but the attack failed to connect them.

Bofoakwa Tano are now unbeaten in the league, they have won two games and drawn one in the three matches played so far. The win over Hearts of Oak moves them to the top of the league log.
