MATCH REPORT: Hearts of Oak and Dreams FC ends goalless in Accra.

Dreams Football Club held Accra Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium in match-day four fixture of the Betpawa Premier League.

The draw at home means Hearts of Oak are winless in their last two matches in the League. A defeat in Sunyani last weekend and a draw today against Dreams Football Club.

Hearts of Oak started the game on a brighter note, and created numerous goal-scoring chances but couldn’t find the back of the net. Abdul Jalilu and Mensah were on top of their game in defense to deny Hearts of Oak attack from scoring.

Ramos had the chance to open the scoring in the 16th minute of the game but the Congolese bicycle kick effort was calmly saved by Solomon Agbasi.

In the second half, both sides made early changes. Coach Martin Koopman brought for youth team attacker Hamza Obeng who came in to replace Kashala Ramos who was wasteful in the first half. For Karim Zito, he replaced ever-present right back Ebenezer Adade who picked up an injury, and Sulemana with Solomon Boateng and Aziz Abdul Issah.

In the dying ember of the game, Solomon Abgasi was forced to make a crucial save to deny Enoch Asubonteng’s thunderbolt strike in the 84th minute. Richmond Ayi also made a massive save to stop Abdul Aziz Issah’s strike in the 92nd minute.

Elsewhere in Bibiani, Goldstars disciplined Real Tamale United by 3-0 with a brace from Ronald Frimpong who was RTU’s top scorer last season and Appiah Maccarthy.
