Hearts of Oak bounces back to winning ways after defeating defending champions Medeama Sporting Club by 3-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium in a week 8 fixture of the Betpawa Premier League to since a win after four matches without a win.
Just six minutes into the game, Hearts of Oak’s attacking intentions were clear since the blast of the referee whistle, and got their opener through a corner kick from Salifu Ibrahim which goalkeeper Appiah Kubi pushed to ball into his own net to make it 1-0 for the Phobians.

Godknows Dzapkasu pulled one back for the yellow and mauves with a stronger header to beat Richmond Ayi in the twentieth minute after raising above the defense of Hearts of Oak to get at the end of Kamaradini Mamudu’s delightful cross.
