Moisés Caicedo has just informed Liverpool that he only wants to join Chelsea! Caicedo has decided to keep his word and only accept Chelsea as personal terms were agreed since end of May.
According to Fabrizio Romano, who has claimed that the Blues have a ‘dream’ of presenting the midfielder during their Premier League opener with Liverpool on Sunday. Romano described the next 24 hours as ‘crucial’ with Liverpool said to be planning to submit a formal bid on Friday(today).
This afternoon, Moisés Caicedo has just informed Liverpool that he only wants to join Chelsea! And has started following Chelsea on Instagram.
Despite Brighton’s interest to keep Caicedo, the Blues remain the favorite for his signature – especially after he revealed his desire to join club. Chelsea, set to bid again in order to get deal done with Brighton.
One source had told Sky Sports News that Brighton value Caicedo, who was signed from Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle for £4.5m in 2021, in the same bracket as Arsenal’s record-signing Declan Rice and will look to get in the region of £100m for him.
It is thought Chelsea were getting encouragement that the 21-year-old would join them if a deal can be agreed between the clubs, with personal terms not expected to be a problem.
Sky Sports News understands there are no active talks between the clubs currently.

According to reports, Liverpool reached an agreement with Brighton to sign Moises Caicedo for a £110million whereas Chelsea’s offer was £100m. The report states that the Seagulls held an auction using midnight as the deadline.
