English Premier League side, West Ham United have signed Ghanaian playmaker Mohammed Kudus from AFC Ajax on a five-year deal.
The 23-year-old midfielder flew to London on Saturday to complete a medical with the Premier League side.
Both parties agreed on a € 43 million transfer fee. This amount can increase to € 46 million through variables for the Black Stars player. The deal will also include a 10% sell-on clause.
Kudus has become the second Ajax player to join the East London-based side in this summer transfer window after the Mexican Edson Alvarez.
The Ghanaian international played 87 official matches for Ajax’s first team and scored 27 goals. In addition, Kudus won the Eredivisie twice (2021 and 2022) and the Dutch Cup once (2021).
