Portuguese talent Joao Neves linked to Manchester United.

Benfica midfielder Joao Neves has recently impressed the scouts of Manchester City and Manchester United. João Pedro Gonçalves Neves is a 2004 Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Primeira Liga club Benfica and the Portugal national team.

Portuguese midfielder born in 2004 is being monitored by Manchester United scouting department, waiting for board changes to make future decisions.

Benfica have no intention to open talks for João Neves in January despite Man United sending their scouts many times to track talented midfielder. There’s same clause as Enzo Fernández one year ago into his contract: €120m.

João Neves has convinced Manchester United that they should make a move for him but Benfica isn’t in a rush to sell the player who has a €100m release clause.

Joao Neves leaving Benfica in January isn’t likely, however he’s one to watch for the summer. Manchester United are among the list of names interested.
