Real Madrid will consider Jamal Musiala as potential replacement if Kylian Mbappé move fails

Real Madrid will NOT make any signings in the January transfer window as they keep a space in their squad for their planned signing of Kylian Mbappé next summer.

Samir Nasri on Mbappé: “He’s from Paris: if I were him, I’d stay at PSG instead of going to Madrid to win their 50th UCL. If Marseille had been owned by Qatar when I was at the club I would never have left. I think it’s better to be the king in your own village.

Real Madrid official statement on Kylian Mbappé deal.

“Given information in the media about negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappé and our club, Real Madrid state that this information is categorically false”.

“Negotiations have not taken place with a player who belongs to PSG”.

” Nasser Al Khelaifi: “I didn’t see Real Madrid statement about Mbappé to be honest — we focus on ourselves not others”.

“Time and time again Kylian delivers… he’s the best player in the world”.

“It’s fantastic to see him driving forward PSG”, told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Real Madrid are considering Jamal Musiala as a ‘first alternative’ should they fail in their attempt to sign Kylian Mbappé.

Manchester City see the 20-year old as Kevin de Bruyne’s successor but Bayern will do everything to keep him.

For the club, it’s clear that they would have to almost triple his current €8m/year wages and make him one of the top earners.

For the player, it’s not just about money – he wants to play in a team with realistic chances of winning the Champions League. He currently does not want to think about his future, contract talks will only take place after the end of the season. Potential new contracts for Davies and Sané, Musiala’s best friends in the team and key players, could also play a role
