Ghana youngster Emmanuel Toku has secured a move to Danish Division One outfit Aalborg BK on loan from Belgian side OH Leuven.
Both parties agreed on a loan deal till the end of the season and an option to purchase after the loan deal.
Following the signing of the Ghanaian youth star, Aalborg BK sporting director Ole Jan Kappmeier said:
“Emmanuel Toku is an exciting offensive profile who can play both on the edge and as an eights and ten.
“Right now he lacks match training, but he is both dribbling strong, is a shooting threat and has speed, and he is also an excellent pressure player, which is why we are confident that he can contribute so that we can hopefully continue our good start to the season.”
Emmanuel Toku also expressed his desire and readiness to set the ball rolling with the Danish club.
“When I was presented with the opportunity to come to AaB, I said yes immediately. AaB is a big club that I want to be a part of, and I am very happy to be here.
“I know the NordicBet League from my time at Fremad Amager and know that it is a good league with difficult opponents, but I hope to contribute to us winning a lot of games and hopefully moving up to the country’s top flight” he told aabsports.dk
Aalborg BK are currently second on the Danish 1st division league table with 17pionts after 7 games played.
