We are going there for the win – Derrick Fordjour ahead of the Hearts of Oak game.

Medeama Sporting Club will be at the Accra Sports Stadium on Wednesday 1st November 2023 where they will play a quest to Accra Hearts of Oak in the week 8 fixture of the Betpawa Premier League.

Medeama Sporting Club’s playmaker Derrick Fordjour expressed the team’s readiness to go for the win to move the team up on the league log in an interview with BecksMediaOnline.

Fordjour accepted the fact that the team was not in a good position and that nothing more than a win would push the team up.

In addition, he said they are anticipating a tough game because Hearts of Oak is a top side and are also not in a good position so is going to make the game tough for both sides but they are going for the win.

Derrick Fordjour was involved in all five goals scored against Hearts Of Oak by Medeama SC last season at the Accra Sports Stadium. He provided two assists, won a penalty, and scored for the Yellow and Mauves the last time both sides met.

“It’s going to be a very tough game coming up, we know they are not in a good position but We are going there for a win because we are not in a good position so we have to win this match and be at the top there,” he said.

“We are praying God will grant us victory tomorrow and make our supporters proud” he added.

The match will kick off at 15:00GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium and will also be telecasted live on StarTimes Adepa Channel 247.
